At the heart of nature

Waldschwimmbad (public swimming pool)
Sunbathing and cooling down on hot days is a delightful option in the Waldschwimmbad with its attractive pools, a vast lawn for sunbathing – and a view all the way to the Rhine-Main plain. Among other things the Waldschwimmbad offers: spring water supply from Bürgelstollen, a state-of-the-art technology to ensure a consistent water quality, a non-swimmer area with a 50-metre slide, floor bubble jets, a flow channel, a water cannon and back showers, an area for mothers and toddlers with two-level paddling pools, a slide, a house for mothers and their children and a playground.

Hiking, biking, jogging
or simply leisurely walking: Kronberg‘s scenic surroundings offer many opportunities to enjoy nature. The hiking routes throughout the Taunus forests laid out and carefully maintained by the Taunus association since the middle of the 19th century are attractive at any time of the year. And there is much to be discovered, such as the Celtic circular walls at Altkönig, or the Taunus castles of Königstein, Falkenstein and Kronberg hiking along the three-castle path.
